Biography:
Rick Dickinson grew up in rural upstate New York where he developed his interest in landscape painting while studying with a professional artist in the neighborhood.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana Institute of Technology and had a successful career in the construction industry until he could return to his first love, landscape oil painting.

Rick and his wife now live on the island of Southport, Maine. He maintains studios in a commercial space overlooking beautiful Boothbay Harbor and in a Maine seaside cottage overlooking Townsend Gut. They have two grown children.

He can most often be seen working or teaching en plein air or the studio.
